We recently partnered with Lifetime Television’s “The Balancing Act” to help a handful of “reality stars” set their fitness and health goals and achieve them! Viewers will get to see all of the hard work, determination and results of our stars’ efforts to reach their goals. You’ll be getting to know our stars this season, so, we wanted to introduce you to them, as you’re sure to be inspired by their stories.
Antonia Woods is a 38-year-old mother of two with a pitch-perfect singing voice and perpetually positive outlook on life! In addition to raising her two sons, Antonia’s gig as a backup singer for Joss Stone keeps her very busy, which leaves her with little time to focus on her personal health. Her goals are to lose 50-60 pounds and become a healthier person overall. She lives by the motto, “If you can believe, you can achieve,” which we think is perfect for her wellness makeover!
Christine Delisle is a 39-year-old bride-to-be. She puts others first always, having so much love for her family and for the people in her life. Christine, a stay-at-home-mom, plays an active role in the lives of her children. She hopes to lose 60 pounds and gain more cardiovascular endurance so she can run around with her children without losing her breath!
Melissa Jablonski is a 39-year-old school teacher for children with disabilities, and strives to make the world a happier, better place. Now, she’s striving to improve her health! She’s hoping to adopt a healthy lifestyle and find ways to manage stress without turning to her favorite comfort foods. She’s looking forward to inspiring others to make the commitment to get fit and healthy while sharing her progress with you.
Rosa Gordon is a 51-year-old firecracker who advocates for change and education in the nation’s foster and adoption programs. Her nurturing spirit is coupled with a passion for sports, including basketball and boxing. Rosa, who is entering a new phase in her life, is looking to make this her healthiest chapter yet. Overall, she’s looking to cease taking prescription medications to regulate her health and to lose 70 pounds.
We don’t know about you, but we can relate to all of their goals and challenges. Which of our stars do you relate to the most in terms of goals and struggles?
Be sure to keep up with each of our stars by watching The Balancing Act at 7 am every Monday morning on Lifetime television.
